Location:
The Factory is located in the heart of the Gazipur, Dhaka where most of the Garments
and Garments related factories are located. The Dhaka International Airport is just 20
kilometers (app.) away and it takes around 30-40 minutes drive to reach the factory.

Facilities for the Workers
We provide the followings....
Stair: Two wide and open stairs are available in this building. These are clearly marked to use
by male and female workers.
Dainng Facility: Properly furnished dining hall with all facilities to take meal is available just

Floor this building for workers/staffs.
Lighting: Sufficient lighting arrangement in the floors with proper lighting shade fixed along
with overhead channel.
Cleanness: The factory premise are well clean, the cleaners are always busy to sweep the
floor regularly.
Water: Pure Drinking water is available, supplied from water filter to all floors including toilet.
Moreover, each floor provided with tank for portable water.
Toilet: Sufficient numbers of toilets are available for male & female workers as per
requirements. Soaps, Slipper & towels are also supplied.
Emergency electricity supply: During the electricity failure, our own generators can
fulfill requirements of the whole complex.
Salary & wages:

Salary and wages are paid to the staff and workers as per gazette notification of the
government of Bangladesh.
Payment of salary and wages are made regularly by 5-7 of each month.
In the salary sheet basic salary, house rent, medical allowance, Transport allowance, Food
allowance and gross salary are shown separately for each employee.
Salary grade: Minimum Wages Calculation: (Basic + 40% House Rent +250 medical
allowance+200 Transport allowance+650 Food allowance) =Minimum Wages as per Gazette
2013.

Overtime :
Overtime is calculated on the basis of "double the basic salary" Calculation of
overtime per hour is :( Basic salary ÷208× 2) as Per Grade. Payment of
overtime is made 5th-7th of each month with monthly salary.
Bonus: Two festival bonus equivalent of one day to 3 month 12.5%, 3-6
month 25%, 6-9 month 37.5%, 9-12 month 50% gross salary are paid to each
employee.
Leave:
a) Casual: All employees enjoy 10 days casual leave in a year with
full salary/wages.
b) Sick leave: All staff & workers are entitled to enjoy 14 days sick
leave with full salary/wages.
c) Maternity: Female employees are entitled to enjoy 16 weeks
(Total payments are given before delivery), benefits will be given as
per labor law. (Payment of Total salary: on 6 month completion of
service)

Code of Conduct For The Employee
Obligatory policy dealings with the workers of Naila Fashion (Pvt.) Limited as per labor
law and act are as follows:
To abuse and harassment by mental, oral or physical are strictly prohibited. If
any complain proved against anybody, he will be punished under labor rule.
Any complain of workers, proper authority will be heard cordially and proper
action will be taken as early as possible.
For any simple reason Worker would not be punished financially,
Nothing to force for additional work (Over time) we respect their willingness.
To appoint of all workers (Both female & male) except children will be treated as
equal.
There is provision to complain to the higher authority. A complain box which is
preserved in the factory.
Primary treatment facilities are available in the factory.
Each worker has the legal right to get short leave in case of emergency. No
Salary will be deducted from his/her for the said period.
To use spot remove openly is strongly prohibited.
Each worker in the factory has individual Scurf, ID card & self saver (musk).

MEDICAL FACILITIES
Medical allowance @ TK. 250/= per month is allowed for all
worker.
First aid facilities with trained first aider/Nurse are available
for each employee.
Accident register for injured person is being maintained.
First aid box: each floor has been provided with sufficient first
aid box with necessary medicine.

Our Recruitment Policy
Recruitment Policy: RECRUITMENT is done as per following
systems:
We published requirements in leaflet & Banner.
Personal contacts by own employees.
SELECTION: During the selection of the workers following factors are
considered.
Good physical Strength/fitness.
Age minimum 18 years. Must be supported by
certificate from educational Institution or local govt.
Authorities and confirmed by medical officer.
Educational qualification as per job profile.
Skill ness (practical for operators)
Wages/salary negotiation.
Joining date.
JOINING: Selected workers/trainees submit following to the personal
department (HRD) on joining:
Prescribed application form duly filled.
Two passport size photographs.
Educational certificate.
Experience certificate (if any)
Medical fitness certificate mentioning age.
Note: All the process maintained period to joining.
Service confirmation:
On completion of 3 months satisfactory job performance,
company confirms the Employees’ service permanently.

Trainees who fail to show satisfactory performance
within this time his/her Apprenticeship period are
generally extended for another three month. If he/she
cannot cope up within this given period then his/her
service is terminated.

7. Compensation: to recognize that wages are essential to meet employees basic needs. NAILA
FASHION (PVT) LTD. will at minimum comply with all applicable wages and working hours
law and regulation including those relations to minimum wages over time, maximum hours and
other elements of compensation and provide legally mandatory benefits, except in extra ordinary
business circumstance. NAILA FASHION (PVT) LTD. will not require employees to work more
than 48 hours per week & 12 hours over time per week.
8. Protection of environment: to comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
9. Wages and benefits: we always follow to pay the workers as per gazette notification of the
Government of Bangladesh.
10. Hours of work: We strictly follow the ILO labor law & existing in our Country.
